CSSC Content Day
CSSC brought together a group of inspiring disabled athletes who have benefited from their schemes to create a bank of content for future marketing campaigns. Alongside athlete stories, we also filmed a message from the incoming Interim CEO to the wider CSSC community.
CSSC Content Day
Client: CSSC
Agency: Frame Agency
Director: Chay Turner-Rihcards
My Role: DOP/Camera Operator
Deliverables: Interviews, social content, executive message
Having worked with Frame Agency on a number of projects previously, and after filming several CSSC events, I was brought on board as Director of Photography for their Manchester content day.
The aim was to capture authentic stories from athletes who have used CSSC support throughout their sporting journeys, including individuals who have gone on to represent Team GB. We created a comfortable interview setup where contributors could share their experiences in their own words, alongside a series of portrait and social-first content assets for future marketing use.
We also filmed a message from the incoming Interim CEO, creating a consistent visual style across all content captured throughout the day.
It was a rewarding project to be part of, combining thoughtful storytelling with content designed to support CSSC's future communications and campaigns.
About
What I Enjoyed
Working with contributors from a wide range of sporting backgrounds and helping create an environment where they felt comfortable sharing their stories on camera.
Projects like this remind me how powerful honest storytelling can be. It's always a pleasure collaborating with the teams at Frame Agency and CSSC, and documentary-style content days like this are some of my favourite projects to work on.
