Time to be Proud

When The Proud Trust launched their Time To Be Proud campaign, they were looking for a film that celebrated their community while highlighting the impact of the work they do every day. It was an opportunity to help tell important stories and support a cause that genuinely makes a difference.

‘Time to be Proud’ Charity Brand film

Client: The Proud Trust

Director: Wesley Roskell

My roles: DoP, Editor, Producer

Deliverables: Hero brand film and social assets

Working closely with the team, we began by exploring the wider goals of the campaign and the role the film needed to play within it.

Together, we developed a structure that combined perspectives from staff and community members, helping explain both the purpose of The Proud Trust and the impact of The Proud Place on the people who use it.

Following location scouting and pre-production planning, we spent time capturing interviews and stories from across the community. The result was a film built around authentic experiences and honest reflections, giving a voice to the people at the heart of the organisation.

About

What I Enjoyed

Meeting members of the community and hearing their stories was a privilege. The openness and honesty people brought to the interviews made the project incredibly rewarding to be part of.

We left with a huge amount of respect for the team at The Proud Trust and the positive impact they continue to have on the people they support.
