Active Wellbeing Takeover Day
CSSC's Active Wellbeing Takeover transformed Soapworks in Manchester into a day dedicated to health, wellbeing and workplace engagement. Working with Frame Agency, I was brought in to capture the event and create a collection of content showcasing the activities, speakers and atmosphere throughout the day.
CSSC Active Wellbeing Takeover Event Coverage
Client: Frame Agency
My roles: Camera operator, Producer
Deliverables: Footage from the event. Mix of framing 16:9/9:16. Interviews with staff.
Following previous work with both CSSC and Frame Agency, I was invited back to help document the event and produce a bank of marketing content that could be used across future campaigns.
The day featured a wide range of activities, from fitness challenges and wellbeing sessions to talks from industry experts and health professionals. This meant constantly moving between very different environments and adapting quickly to capture both energetic activity and more reflective conversations.
Alongside event coverage, we also recorded interviews with attendees and contributors, helping provide additional insight into the importance of workplace wellbeing and the positive impact of initiatives like these.
The existing relationships built through previous projects helped contributors feel comfortable on camera, resulting in natural interviews and authentic moments throughout the day.
About
What I Enjoyed
I always enjoy the fast-paced nature of event coverage, where no two moments are quite the same.
One minute I was filming fitness challenges and blender bike competitions, the next I was capturing interviews and wellbeing discussions. The variety kept the day engaging and provided a great opportunity to tell the story of the event from multiple perspectives.
